Based in London, Douglas is a musician with extensive experience in theatre, education and orchestral performance.
Douglas has worked as a violinist, viola player and conductor in productions at: The National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, The West-End and on West-End Touring Productions.
He is currently the violin chair on the Dear Evan Hansen Tour.
His work on productions such as Amadeus at the National Theatre, The Great Christmas Feast at the Lost Estate, and The Nature of Why with the Paraorchestra has required him to develop into a performer comfortable with movement and stage craft.
Douglas is also a keen educator, with his students winning music scholarships to prestigious universities and schools, obtaining leadership roles in the National Children’s Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra, winning competitions and regularly achieving distinctions in ABRSM exams.
